This auction is for a signed character study of Ahsoka Tano.
This original piece (Strathmore paper with Inks and Copic Markers over Pencils) measures 11″ x 14″. This work was kindly donated by the artist, ILM alum Preston Donovan. Actual item does not contain watermark shown in main auction image. Second image is the finished item (with signature/date).
Preston Donovan worked as a Model Maker for Industrial Light and Magic between 1995 – 2005. He worked on many films, including STAR WARS Episodes I, II, and III. Preston is also known for being a part of the team Deadblow, a robot created for the show “BattleBots”. You may also know Preston’s name from his participation in the creation of “Architects of Evil”: A film created by a team from the ILM Model Shop for the 2004 Industrial Light and Magic Backyard Film Contest.
